Buffy Vet Eliza Dushku Revealed She Got Married Last Month
Eliza Dushku is a married woman. And she has been a married woman for nearly one month now. As the actress revealed on the eve of her one month wedding anniversary on her Instagram page, she got married in private late in the summer, and she's only sharing the wedding photos to her fans now. You can be sure to check out the collection of nuptial photographs below, which show the former Buffy actress during the ceremony and embarking on the next stage of her life in marriage. As you can see in the well-photographed collection below, it was an extremely intimate affair, which probably explains why nobody outside of her closest friends and family likely knew about it. Or, if there was an announcement, it wasn't commented on much.
While it wasn't a public service, it was definitely a beautiful occasion, filled with great weather, beautiful locales and many smiles, if these photos provide a proper indication. The actress has been good about keeping her private life and her public life separate, which is apparent by how private this wedding was. Nevertheless, it's impressive that pretty much nobody knew about this wedding until a good month after it happened, and it wasn't news that was leaked by TMZ or anything like that. Instead, it was announced by the television actress herself, and she seems to be deeply drunk on love right now. Many congratulations are in order for Eliza Dushku and her new husband, real estate executive Peter Palandijan, on their marriage!
The wedding took place at the Boston Public Library, and it serves as the actress' first marriage. In addition to her work on Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Eliza Dushku is known for her work on Dollhouse, as well as in Bring It On. Most recently, she made a memorable turn in the final season of Banshee. She's a well-established actress with years upon years of work under her belt, and it seems like marriage is the next step for her personal life. We're happy to know that this big change in her life is treating her well so far and that she is welcoming marriage with open arms as she embarks on this new path.
Recently, though, Eliza Dushku hasn't been working much on the screen, either big or small. She was last seen in the TV movie The Saint in 2017, and was also in the horror mystery Eloise that same year, along with a three-episode run on the CBS procedural drama Bull. But, she hasn't had any projects appear in 2018 and doesn't seem to have any lined up for the immediate future. And, it seems like a quieter, married life away from the glitz and glamor of Hollywood is what the actress would prefer right now. That's certainly understandable, and we're happy to know that she seems to be happy and doing well in this new stage of her life. Celebrity life isn't easy, but we're glad that she was able to get married on her own terms, and that she was able to announce the nuptials when she felt like it, which was this past weekend. Congrats!
