Fred Willard Says Porn Movie He Was Busted Watching Was Lousy

Fred Willard may not have officially put the adult theater arrest behind him yet, but that doesn’t mean he’s not ready to have a laugh at his own expense. The seventy-two-year-old hit up his Twitter account for the first time since the incident to offer a public comment on what happened, and while he vaguely defended himself, he also took time out to criticize the film he was busted watching. You can take a look at his tweet below…

Wait til u hear my version; much more PG. & my review, lousy film, but theater would make a terrific racquetball court. Full story 2 follow.

Sadly, that full story hasn’t come yet, but if it’s as humorous as Willard’s abbreviated version, we should all be in for a laugh. It takes a certain kind of man not to run from an embarrassing public arrest, and the fact that Willard is that type of guy kind of makes me like him more.

In addition to the aforementioned tweet, Willard also gave fans another one, encouraging them to watch Trust Us With Your Life tomorrow at nine on ABC because, well, he wasn’t actually fired from that job. The comedian was, of course, quickly canned from PBS’ Market Warriors within a day of his arrest, but thus far, everyone else overseeing his future projects has stuck by him.

In a few weeks, this whole scandal will be funny to pretty much everyone, and within a few months, it will likely be forgotten, at least provided a repeat arrest doesn’t occur in the future.
