The war between the Kardashian/ Jenner family and the widow of Robert Kardashian has taken an ugly turn. Kris, Kim, Kourtney and Khloe have reportedly decided to sue Ellen Pearson for selling tidbits of the deceased patriarch’s diary to various tabloids. Apparently, his daughters are convinced the aforementioned journal was actually left to them, along with several photo albums, meaning any information she sold could be considered copyright infringement.

According to TMZ, they want Pearson to turn over the diary and the photo albums, as well as pay damages for allegedly infringing on their copyright. Something tells me, however, if she were to agree to stop selling scandalous stories to the tabloids and turn over the diary and photo albums, the girls would likely be willing to just leave it at that.

The bad blood between Pearson and the Kardashian family spilled over earlier this year when Pearson claimed Robert told her Kris used to beat the children. Khloe, especially, was furious with the allegation, and more than likely, that was the moment that convinced the family to start talking about legal action.

As for why Kris is involved when the diary wasn’t left to her, that’s not really clear, but then again, she’s never really skipped an opportunity for a little publicity. If the girls get their hands on the diary, they’ll be able to find out whether or not Robert actually made these claims, and if he didn’t, we could be looking at a second lawsuit. We’ll keep you updated.
