Nashville Final Episodes Trailer Reveals A Surprise Pregnancy And A Big Love Triangle

Nashville will soon come to an end after a history of ups, downs, and network switcheroos that saw it move from ABC to CMT. The series was officially cancelled back in November 2017, and there was no rescue in store this time. A trailer for the final stretch of episodes has hit the web, and it reveals some twists that are certainly going to take fans by surprise. Take a look at the trailer to discover who's pregnant, who's looking for a love connection, and who may or may not be making an appearance from beyond the grave:

Yes, Juliette is pregnant, and she's not exactly in a position to share the happy news with her friends and family. After a devastating bombshell back in the first half of Season 6, Juliette found herself immersed in the Movement for Coherent Philosophy. While she initially believed that the Movement was helpful and only had her best interests at heart, she's clearly being held against her will in the trailer for the final episodes.

When Juliette last saw Avery in Bolivia, she told him that she didn't intend to return home with him and their daughter. He was devastated and ultimately removed his wedding ring, which may mean that Juliette is out of luck when it comes to a rescue. If he's not looking for her and is apparently claiming that she's on a trip, nobody may think she's in danger enough to try and find her. For her part, Juliette is clearly ready to fight for her freedom, as she wants to tell young Cadence that she's going to be a big sister. Can I just suggest that Season 6 ends with Juliette on her way to a happy, peaceful, successful future?

Avery will be occupied with a love triangle, by the looks of things. He seems to be getting busy with Alannah, much to Gunnar's dismay. The footage didn't give away what exactly is going to happen, but the guys could very well come to blows. Love triangles never really end well for anybody, and Avery could feel pretty awful once he finds out what happened to Juliette. We may want to expect things to get very messy.

Elsewhere in the trailer, we see Will continuing to struggle with his health after collapsing on stage back in the midseason finale. Deacon's long-lost dad will turn up just as Deacon is having trouble with Maddie, Scarlett is in a dangerous situation with an armed man... oh, and there's what might be a tease that none other than the dearly departed Rayna will be back in the mix. The trailer ends on what appears to be Deacon addressing a blonde figure, asking if she's real. We don't see her face, but Deacon's expression is rather dream-like, which could point toward him dreaming and/or hallucinating Rayna. Only time will tell.

The final episodes of Nashville air on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on CMT. Fans are undoubtedly in for a wild ride up until the series finale airs on July 26.
