Spoilers ahead for the January 16 episode of The Masked Singer on Fox.

One of the craziest shows on television got just a little bit crazier with its latest episode. The Masked Singer brought the Lion, the Deer, the Peacock, the Unicorn, and the Monster back for another performance each, and not all of those performances impressed the judges. One contestant had to be cut, and after removing his mask, he confessed that he was happy to be eliminated! NFL sportscaster and Super Bowl champion Terry Bradshaw was voted off as the Deer, and he had this to say after losing his mask:

This is so stressful. I got to thank y'all for voting me off.

In his comments after removing his mask, Terry Bradshaw was laughing and went on to say that he'd had "so much fun" during his time on the show, so it was clear that the stress of performing under what looked like an awfully heavy and elaborate costume didn't ruin the experience for him. According to him, The Masked Singer was harder than the NFL! He certainly took the Masked Singer loss better than he undoubtedly took some of his football losses! He can't be the MVP of everything, right?

Terry Bradshaw seemed to have a hard time with his performance this week. He tackled a cover of "Get Your Shine On," which was originally recorded by Florida Georgia Line. He didn't do much in the way of dancing beyond a bit of swaying, and he actually struggled for about thirty seconds to get the mask off after he learned that he'd been eliminated.

In Terry Bradshaw's defense, the deer-head mask looked pretty precarious thanks to the antlers. I'd probably have a hard time getting it off in a timely fashion in front of an audience chanting "Take it off!" as well. Bradshaw did work up a sweat in the process. A couple of the judges were happy to see that Bradshaw was the man beneath the mask, as they correctly guessed his identity. Some fans must have been happy for the same reason, and he was definitely on our list of candidates as the Deer.

As much as he was a good sport about the loss, Terry Bradshaw was a bit put out at the fact that the judges had deemed him "not a singer." As fans of Bradshaw know, he has released no fewer than six albums of gospel and country/western music!

Nevertheless, he was all smiles during the big reveal. At least he'll always have his career in sports! The four-time Super Bowl champion, two-time Super Bowl MVP, NFL Hall of Famer, and beloved sportscaster probably didn't cry himself to sleep after this loss. At least, I hope not! Take a look at the reveal for yourself:

Tune in to Fox on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET to see who will be unmasked next on The Masked Singer. Joel McHale will be back as a guest panelist on the next episode as the Poodle, the Alien, the Rabbit, the Raven, and the Bee battle it out to keep their identities concealed. Shazam presumably won't be any help for viewers trying to guess! For additional viewing options, swing by our midseason TV premiere guide.
