Warning! The following contains spoilers for 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days. Read at your own risk!
Season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days has been the buzz of the internet, thanks in large part to Big Ed and Rose. Audiences have been captivated by the wild ride romance between the 54-year-old, 4'11 photographer, his 23-year-old potential fiancé Rose and his trip to the Philippines to see her.
The season has brought all kinds of drama, from Ed revealing he uses mayonnaise in place of hair care products to soften his hair, to outing Rose for her bad breath while the cameras were rolling. The footage has proven to be too much for Rose, who took to Instagram live to out her now-ex as a fake and a liar. The post has since been deleted, but, as usual, reality TV enthusiasts were able to archive Rose's airing of grievances for anyone who missed out on the action.
According to Rose, a lot of what Big Ed has said in 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days are lies. Specifically, Rose alleged that Ed had not gifted her thousands of dollars in gifts, and that the only gift she received was a bra and panties. While it's unclear if she felt that way at their meeting, Rose now believes that Ed was using her and their relationship to get famous in his own right, and didn't really care about their romance.
Rose's scathing commentary on Big Ed has made its rounds on the web, but Big Ed has yet to respond. Instead he’s sending shout outs to fans of 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days, and talking about the importance of laughing at oneself.
Of course, it’s really hard to discern what the truth is in this situation. There have been a lot of things said between Big Ed and Rose, but now both have heard things said that they may not have back when 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days was filming. Plus, reality television can be edited to make an audience see things that may not have actually happened in the way they appear to, which further complicates getting to the truth of the matter.
90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days currently shows Big Ed and Rose together, but as Rose’s Instagram Live may have clued some in on, the two don’t appear to be on good terms. There have even been reports that Rose has since become engaged to another woman. Big Ed has confirmed (via Us Weekly) he’s aware of the reports, but has not revealed the truth behind those allegations. It’s possible that his contract with TLC prevents him from confirming he and Rose have split, which wouldn't be an uncommon practice for reality television.
90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days airs on TLC, Sundays at 8:00 p.m. ET. Continue to stick with CinemaBlend for all the latest news happening in television and movies, in 2020 and beyond.
