Why 90 Day Fiance's Latest Tell-All Was Karma For Colt Johnson

Colt Johnson 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After TLC

Warning! The following contains spoilers from Part 3 of the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? tell-all. Read at your own risk!

90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? finally wrapped up its Season 5 tell-all, and as is often the case in show business, the show saved some of the best reveals for last. After two installments of Colt Johnson trashing their relationship, confirming his infidelity and attempting to manipulate ex-girlfriend Jess Caroline, he was finally served a little karma.

In what may have been the biggest shock of the tell-all, Jess Caroline revealed that she has gotten married to a man in the time since the season ended. Jess revealed Brian Hanvey, who was all smiles and ready to answer any and all questions about his relationship with his wife during the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? tell-all.

The news was a shock to those in attendance, and one that changed the mood of Colt Johnson and mother Debbie almost instantly. Colt wished them well, but he and mother Debbie quickly started throwing in some snide remarks about the news. The two went in on Jess Caroline, congratulating her on finally getting a green card by marrying an American, which implied that was the only reason she married her husband.

In reality, Jess Caroline lost her job, and per the rules of her being from outside the country, would've been required to return home to Brazil. Brian Hanvey revealed the two had been dating for months beforehand, so when Jess lost her job, he had to make a decision. Jess said Brian didn't want to deal with a long-distance relationship or move with her to Brazil, so he was willing to tie the knot to see where the relationship takes them.

Regardless of his snide remarks, it was clear Colt Johnson was bothered by this development. 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? fans should hardly feel bad for him though, especially after listening to Colt's disses of Jess, his admission of infidelity with Vanessa Guerra, and attempts at emotional manipulation. Jess' "happily ever after" ending was a sign that she is doing well and fine without him, and that seemingly bothered him more than anything else.

As 90 Day Fiancé fans may also know, this is not the first time something like this has happened to Colt Johnson. When Colt divorced Larissa Dos Santos Lima, she showed up at the tell-all with Eric Nichols. The move outraged Colt Johnson, and it's possible this moment with Jess Caroline may have brought back uncomfortable feelings of that moment way back when. Colt bounced back from that well enough, so I'm sure we'll see him back on the saddle again on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? in the future.

90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? is done with Season 5, but HEA Strikes Back is set to begin airing Mondays at 8:00 p.m. ET. Continue to stick with CinemaBlend for more on the franchise, and for the latest news happening in television and movies.
