The tables turned on Lip Sync Battle co-host Chrissy Teigen earlier this summer. Instead of being applauded for yet another one of her signature Twitter takedowns, a few reality stars came forward with allegations that Teigen’s online humor was actually cyber bullying. The list of parties affected include Celebrity Big Brother’s Courtney Stodden, Teen Mom’s Farrah Abraham and Project Runway’s Michael Costello. The scandal inevitably resulted in Teigen's various deals and businesses falling through. But it's been quiet for a few weeks now and Teigen has stepped back into the limelight with something new to sell.

Even with the severe backlash over the bullying accusations, it seems Chrissy Teigen can't stop, won't stop trying to make lemons out of lemonade. That is, keeping her name brand going. To that likely end, Teigen announced that her third cookbook, Cravings All Together, is available for pre-order. In a post on Instagram about the new product, the former supermodel wrote,

How do you come up with a funny, enticing caption for a book that quite literally saved you. I didn’t have a theme in mind when we made this book - all I knew was I wanted a bright new energy, but I also needed comfort. I wanted to make recipes that would be timeless, food that brings joy to your belly, your household, those around you. I wanted people to enjoy not just the outcome, but the process. This book is reflective of everything I wanted and we needed as a family to bring into our home, it is truly a piece of us, and I am so excited to share it with you.

Chrissy Teigen’s new book was in the works prior to the bullying scandal. But it's interesting that her publisher didn't consider pulling the plug on the project in the wake of all the controversy, which is what Target and Macy’s supposedly did to Teigen's cookware line. Not to mention, she was replaced in a voiceover role on Netflix’s Never Have I Ever by Gigi Hadid and ultimately backed out of her seemingly lucrative deal with Kris Jenner.

A pretty extensive apology tour commenced amidst the mounting bullying claims. But it wasn’t until Michael Costello’s allegations – particularly that Chrissy Teigen made him feel suicidal and threatened to have him blacklisted – that things took a more serious turn. The TV personality started going on the defense and even implied legal action against Costello. Since then, Costello has taken down his social media posts that detailed his claims.

The past obviously can't be erased with a new cookbook. But Chrissy Teigen asserted that she is going to endeavor to move forward by minding her own business in the future. Apparently, going sober on vacation helps with that as well.

Thus, the Chrissy Teigen new phase of life evidently begins. That also includes her newly released film on Peacock, Fries! The Movie, which she produced and starred in as the ultimate lover of fried potatoes. Some things never change.
