All The Bachelor Season 27 Eliminations For Zach Shallcross, Updated Weekly

Zach Shallcross was indoctrinated into Bachelor Nation as part of last year’s double-lead season of The Bachelorette. After making it to the end of Season 19 as one of Rachel Recchia’s final three men, Shallcross self-eliminated following a confusing Fantasy Suite date. Now it’s time to put that behind him, because it’s Shallcross' turn to find love with The Bachelor finalists, and hopefully former Bachelor Sean Lowe’s advice will lead to him being able to get down on one knee at the end of The Bachelor Season 27. Before he can give out his final rose, however, he’s got to send quite a few people home.

Thirty women got out of limos during the Season 27 premiere, hoping to make a lasting impression on Zach Shallcross. In this list we’ll keep track of all the dramatic eliminations, updating it weekly and breaking down how each woman gets cut from The Bachelor Season 27. Whether they fail to receive a rose at the rose ceremony, find themselves on the wrong side of the dreaded 2-on-1 date, or choose to leave the show for whatever reason, you’ll be able to find all that information here.

Let’s take a look at who’s been cast off so far as Zach Shallcross searches for love!

Night 1 Elimination: Madison Johnson

One contestant failed to make it to the rose ceremony on Night 1. Madison Johnson badly wanted to kiss Zach Shallcross, and in her efforts to do so, she stole him away from multiple other conversations, annoying her fellow castmates. When the kiss did happen, it wasn’t a pleasant experience for either party, and she appeared to spend a good portion of the night crying about it. Johnson interrupted the Bachelor one last time, when he was preparing for the rose ceremony with Jesse Palmer, and Shallcross made the decision to send her home right then and there.

Night 1 Rose Ceremony: 9 Women Sent Home

Zach Shallcross seems to have a pretty good idea of what he's looking for, as nine women failed to secure a rose at the Night 1 rose ceremony. With Madison Johnson also being sent home, the Season 27 Bachelor eliminated a third of his contestants in the first night. The nine rose ceremony cuts were:

  • Becca Serrano
  • Cara Ammon
  • Holland Parsons
  • Lekha Ravi
  • Olivia Lewis
  • Olivia Miller
  • Sonia Sharma
  • Vanessa Dinh
  • Viktoria Eichner

Week 2 Rose Ceremony: Cat Carter, Kimberly Gutierrez, Victoria Jameson

After Zach Shallcross cut a third of the field in the Night 1 bloodbath, Week 2 saw a much lower number eliminated, as the Bachelor chose to send just three women home at the rose ceremony: Cat Carter, Kimberly Gutierrez, and Victoria Jameson (pictured above, left to right). We didn’t get to see very much of Gutierrez in these first two episodes, and Jameson was only featured during her limo exit, in which she asked Shallcross to read compliments she’d written out for him.

Cat Carter was possibly the biggest surprise elimination, as she was one of the women Zach Shallcross met on the “After the Final Rose” special when he was named the new lead, and he also seemed to remember her fondly when they reunited on Night 1. Technically, there was a fourth elimination, as Zach Shallcross did not allow Bachelor in Paradise alum Tahzjuan Hawkins to join the cast after she crashed their group date afterparty.

Bailey Brown on The Bachelor.

Week 3 Elimination: Bailey Brown

Despite getting the first kiss of the season, Bailey Brown’s relationship with Zach Shallcross apparently stalled after Night 1. Brown said as much at the group date afterparty, telling him that she was feeling “super weird” about the whole situation. Instead of contradicting her to validate the connection they’d had, the Bachelor agreed that things felt off between them. She tried to backtrack and say she believed in their potential, but he said their relationship wasn’t as strong as others, and he sent her home.

Week 3 Self-Elimination: Brianna Thorbourne

Brianna Thorbourne — the recipient of "America’s Rose" — was upset at the pool party about having to see Zach Shallcross forming connections with other people in the house when hers had failed to take off. The Bachelor agreed they didn’t have a natural connection, and he felt her guard was up. However, when she informed him of her decision to leave, she added that part of the reason she didn’t feel comfortable being herself with him was because Christina Mandrell was using intimidation tactics in the house. This parting bombshell was definitely an accusation that Shallcross took seriously.

Week 3 Rose Ceremony: Christina Mandrell

Everything was coming up roses (literally) for Christina Mandrell in Week 2, to the point where fans on social media were predicting she would lead The Bachelorette Season 20. After receiving the first one-on-one date of the season, however, things went downhill for the content creator this week. Several women confronted her about continuing to talk about her connection with Zach Shallcross, and when he spoke to her about Brianna Thorbourne’s accusations, it was clear he didn’t want to waste time on drama. Despite her tearfully begging him not to believe what the women were saying, Mandrell did not receive a rose at the rose ceremony.

Zach Shallcross and Anastasia Keramidas on The Bachelor.

Week 4 Elimination: Anastasia Keramidas

Anastasia Keramidas got involved in some ridiculous group date drama with Kylee Russell, when there was apparently a question about whether or not Russell meant a physical altercation when she talked about fighting for Zach Shallcross. When Russell approached the Bachelor to clarify her intentions, she also mentioned that other women in the house had overheard Keramidas talking about growing her Instagram followers. Zach Shallcross immediately addressed the “for the wrong reasons” accusation, and even though Keramidas survived the group date, Shallcross eliminated her at the cocktail party before the rose ceremony.

Week 4 Rose Ceremony: Davia Bunch, Genevie Mayo

Both Davia Bunch and Genevie Mayo were on the group date when the other drama went down, so they missed out on precious time with the Bachelor. Bunch tried to save herself during the cocktail party, saying that despite the fact that their relationship hadn’t progressed, she still had trust in him. She even got a kiss from Zach Shallcross, but it wasn’t enough in the end, and just like that, Shallcross is down to 11 remaining women.

Week 5 Virtual Rose Ceremony: Kylee Russell, Mercedes Northup

The group’s trip to London certainly didn’t go as planned, when Zach Shallcross tested positive for COVID and was forced to sit out on the group date and cancel his one-on-one with Charity Lawson. The virtual cocktail party wasn’t enough for Kylee Russell — who was instrumental in Anastasia Keramidas getting eliminated a week ago — to further her relationship with the Bachelor, and the same goes for Mercedes Northup, as both women failed to garner a rose at The Bachelor’s first-ever virtual rose ceremony.

Jess Girod on The Bachelor.

Week 6 Elimination: Jess Girod

Let’s get one thing out of the way: Jess Girod was not the only remaining contestant to not have a one-on-one date with Zach Shallcross, despite her repeating that fact only about 50,000 times in the February 27 episode. Greer Blitzer was sidelined this week with COVID, but she also hasn’t yet secured a solo date with the Bachelor. Either way, Girod was fixated on not having been on a one-on-one, and Shallcross didn’t understand why. They ultimately decided during the group date that it was best for her to leave.

Aly Jacobs and Zach Shallcross on The Bachelor.

Week 6 Rose Ceremony: Aly Jacobs

At the beginning of the episode, Zach Shallcross said he hoped to figure out how much further he and Aly Jacobs could go. I suppose he got his answer, as Jacobs did not receive a rose at the rose ceremony. Greer Blitzer technically also didn’t receive a rose this week, since she was quarantined with COVID, but the next episode’s preview showed that she will continue on the show.

Week 7 Elimination: Greer Blitzer

After sitting out the previous week with COVID, Greer Blitzer got the all-clear to fly to Budapest and reunite with Zach Shallcross and the rest of the group. However, when she arrived and knocked on his door, he basically told her that with both of them being sidelined with the virus, too much time had passed, and their relationship had not progressed enough to give her a Hometown date.

Week 7 Elimination: Brooklyn Willie

Brooklyn Willie received a one-on-one date in Budapest, and despite feeling some anxiety about Zach Shallcross’ other relationships, she let him know that she was confident enough to want to introduce him to her family. The Bachelor, however, did not have that same confidence after hearing her talk about how close she was with her mom and grandfather. He told her she deserved a love he couldn’t give her.

Kat Izzo on The Bachelor

Week 7 Rose Ceremony: Kat Izzo

Zach Shallcross said at the beginning of the episode that things had felt off with Kat Izzo for the past week. Matters weren’t helped during their group date, when Izzo expressed some apprehension about bringing him home to meet her family and said she’d considered leaving the show. Ultimately she did not receive a rose at the ceremony, as Shallcross acknowledged that something had changed between them.

Charity Lawson on The Bachelor.

Hometown Elimination: Charity Lawson

Zach Shallcross met his final four’s families this week, and everything seemed to go well when he traveled to Columbus, Georgia, to see Charity Lawson. He hung out with her family and friends at a tailgate-like party, and after what Lawson called a “perfect” day, she told Shallcross she was falling in love with him. But she was up against three other successful Hometown dates, and Shallcross ultimately chose to send her home, again saying that she deserved all the love, but he couldn’t give it to her. She seemed frustrated as she left, saying she didn’t know what that meant.

Ariel Frenkel on The Bachelor

Fantasy Suite Elimination: Ariel Frenkel

After Zach Shallcross was able to fight temptation during his overnight date with Ariel Frenkel, he broke his no-sex pact with Gabi Elnicki and spent the rest of the episode trying to justify telling Kaity Biggar he’d broken his no-sex pact. So it wasn’t really a surprise when Frenkel was the one who didn’t get a rose, and of the three women, she honestly probably escaped with the least amount of trauma.

Gabi Elnicki on The Bachelor.

Finale Elimination: Gabi Elnicki

Gabi Elnicki's instincts proved to be right, and when she met up with Zach Shallcross on the final day, he apologized and told her that she deserves a man who picks her every day. She said she didn't want his apology and she didn't need it.

That leaves Kaity Biggar as the last woman standing! She accepted The Bachelor's proposal later in the finale, as well as his final rose, of course. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Zach Shallcross' season has come to an end. Charity Lawson will be the next member of Bachelor Nation to embark on a journey to find love, when The Bachelorette Season 20 premieres at 9 p.m. ET June 26.
