We’ve reported on every major studio’s plan for Blu-ray by now, but the announcements aren’t finished yet. The pinnacle of DVD production, The Criterion Collection, has finally made their plans for high definition known. Since Blu-ray has won the battle, there’s no question about which format they’re going to use. Instead it’s interesting to see what movies have been selected for the high definition treatment.

Chungking Express
The Man Who Fell to Earth
The Last Emperor
El Norte
