Starship Troopers Sequel Gets Deployment Date

Sony has finally announced an official release date for the third Starship Troopers movie, which features a return of Casper Van Dien as Johnny Rico. Want to know more?
Starship Troopers 3: Marauder will come to DVD on July 29th. This is, of course, the second sequel in the franchise, both of which have gone straight to DVD. Unlike the first sequel, this one looks at least remotely related to the first movie. Van Dien is back, the bugs are back, but that’s about it, so don’t expect to see the same hype around this one that followed the first Starship Troopers (which I still say is a good movie, even if it barely resembles Heinlen’s novel).
