Stop Pretending Like You Don't Like Degrassi, Season 10 Hits Stores In May

The first time I watched an episode of Degrassi: The Next Generation, it somehow turned into an all-night marathon during which the first two seasons were ordered off the internet. What can I say? I have a soft spot for high school melodrama. But in my defense, on a long list of shows crying their way through puberty storylines, Degrassi would rate near the top. The characters are fully fleshed-out, the kids actually graduate, and previous storylines have dealt with everything from first periods to giving it up in the ravine to being stabbed by hooligans from the rival school. Plus, the show gave us Drake and that hot chick from Vampire Diaries.

This year, Degrassi was hard at work tacking gender confusion with its newest character, Adam, struggling with feelings of being born into the wrong body. Hooked from that description? You should be. I’d advise going back and watching all the seasons in order, as soon as possible (quit your job if you have to), but if you’re already seen ‘em, now might be the time to preorder your copy of Degrassi: Season 10, Part 1 on DVD. You’re gonna need to watch this shit twice. It’s wild.

The DVD set will hit stores on May 17th. It features more than five hundred hours of footage spread across multiple discs. You can take a look at the cover art below, courtesy of TV Shows on DVD.

Don't pretend like you didn't already buy it.
