Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 Sneaky Little Screenshots Released

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is a camper’s dream game. If you enjoy sitting idly like a little bugger in the trees, or waiting patiently in a thicket as unsuspecting soldiers lay out their noggins for sniper fodder, then Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is probably your kind of game.

Given that Call of Duty, a run-and-gun arcade shooter, is the most popular game on the market at the moment, it will be interesting to see how a shooter that requires a steady hand and patience will fare.

On the upside, even if you’re not into sniping you’ll at least have a lot of great visuals to take in since the game is running on the CryEngine 3. City Interactive’s latest Sniper game will see players traversing through the thick jungles of Burma, and it only makes sense to use an engine that’s well diversified in bringing a jungle to life.

The company released a handful of new screenshots for the upcoming military shooter, showing off the game’s remarkably sharp palette, which features a contrast between gorgeous, lush environments and a dark military atmosphere.

You can check out the brand new screenshots for Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 below, which is set for release in early 2012 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC. To learn more about the game be sure to pay a visit to the Official Website.
