Nothing wears our readers out more than Hollywood strike talk, but should the SAG strike happen almost everyone seems agree it’ll have a massive impact on the lives of millions of people. Everyone that is, except the leadership of SAG. Though we’re in the worst economic downturn since the great depression, and though a SAG strike is sure to cost that already weak economy billions of dollars, SAG insists that hey, it doesn’t matter. Luckily for the California economy, much of their membership seems to disagree.
A group of SAG actors have gotten together and started producing anti-strike videos to hammer the point home, and hopefully push the greedy SAG folks into doing the right thing. Below is their first one. Alright it’s not Ron Howard re-enacting the Andy Griffith show, but it does a good job of hammering the point home. As a bonus, it has all the James Cromwell you can handle.
