Liv Tyler Smothers Dax Shepard![]()
Jay Roach's Everyman Pictures has landed Diane Keaton, Daz Shepard, and the lovely Liv Tyler to star in their new indie movie Smother according to Variety.
Written and directed by first timer Vince Di Meglio and co-written by Tim Rasumussen, the movie tells the story of a thirtysomething husband fired from his job and pressured to have a baby by his wife. Things only get worse when his smothering mother decides to move in with him. Actually, the plot sounds a little like what might happen a few years down the road in The Last Kiss. It's the kind of thing a lot of people can identify with, and presumably if Dax Shepard is involved it'll be more of a dramedy than a straight-laced Oscar contender. Could be good. They're working off a $15 million budget, most of which I suspect is being spent on the cast. |
