Director Rob Cohen has been busily blogging about his new movie The Mummy 3 over on his official site for months now. At least we’ll assume its really him and not some marketing rep using his name since there’s no way to prove otherwise. Whatever the site really is, it’s been a great resource for new information from The Mummy 3 set, and now it’s also host to the first pictures released from the film.

What makes these particularly interesting is that they give us our first look ever at Maria Bello in full Rachel Weisz replacement garb. Weisz refused to participate in the production because, well according to our sources, she though the script sucked (and it does). Maria Bello was brought in to take over her character, O’Connell wife Evelyn.
