Rob Cohen has an update on The Mummy. Apparently the Mummy is still dead. That’s sort of what makes it a Mummy. Also there’s a new international poster. That’s to your right.

Cohen also has some much more useful things to say about where the production of the franchise’s third film is at over on his blog. Right now he’s smack dab in the middle of the exciting world of audio dubbing, and the pic below all my blathering is a sample of what he’s up against. Goddamn woodwinds!

It sounds kind of boring to me, and if I were a director I’d probably delegate it to some lacky. But then that’s probably why I’m not more successful. Rob Cohen on the other hand, as long as you ignore Stealth, is very successful and seems really excited about this whole audio dubbing process.
