You always hear about how some Oscar voters let their kids fill out their ballots, or their housekeepers, or hell, a random hobo walking down the street. But lets hope the members of the Academy are frantically watching screeners right now, trying to get the order just right on their ballots before they send them back to the Great Overlords at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Because those ballots are due back on Monday, and it'll be just barely a week after that before we know for sure who the Oscar Class of 2008 will be. Those of us who follow this stuff frantically already knew this, of course, but the Academy sent out a press release because they figured the rest of you could use a reminder. So if you're one of those lazy Academy voters who's been sitting on the ballot and not watching your screeners, get on it! And give Wall-E another chance while you're at it-- you know, just as as recommendation.
