STILLS: Crash Here
Crash is the first indie film this year that looks like it might legitimately be worth anything. Coming from Lions Gate Films at the beginning of May, it takes a close look at the lives of different people from different walks of life in Los Angeles. It’s one of those beautiful connection movies that have become so popular since Magnolia.
Even though this is Paul Haggis’ directorial debut, the cast is incredibly star studded, loaded up like Sin City, minus the hooker boots and prosthetics. He’s scored names like Sandra Bullock, Don Cheadle, Matt Dillon, Jennifer Esposito, William Fichtner, Brendan Fraser, Terrence Howard, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Thandie Newton, Ryan Phillippe and Larenz Tate. To give you a look at what’s in store, we’ve got a ton of new photos from Lions Gate for the film, and a link to the trailer just to provide context. Check it all out below, then check back here later this week for my review of the film… assuming I find a way to see it.
