Cindy Campbell will be back yet again for a fourth Scary Movie.

Yeah, actually there’s not much to report there. The fact that they’re even attempting a fourth movie in the franchise is frightening enough, although I have to admit I liked the third chapter, which featured the comedic stylings of David Zucker (Airplane) instead of the Wayans Brothers, who handled the previous movies.

Along with Anna Faris, who is recieving $2 million up front and has pretty much made a career out of the Scary Movie franchise, Zucker will also return for the fourth installment. No word as to whether Zucker’s “regulars” Charlie Sheen and Leslie Nielson (who appeared in 3) will return. Also undetermined are what movies will be targeted for this chapter. Previous victims have included Scream, Signs, The Ring, 8-Mile, and Zucker’s own creation, Airplane.

Has the well run dry yet? I guess we’ll wait and see. Scary Movie 4 is due to start filming in July.
