Inglorious Bastards will be Quentin Tarantino’s next film. Or at least that’s what our friend Richard over at Filmstalker caught him telling Slashfilm.
QT told them that he actually plans to finish the Inglorious Bastards script while he’s touring around promoting Grindhouse. Then he’ll get right on it, while Robert Rodriguez runs off to make Sin City 2.
Of course we’ve heard this sort of thing from Quentin before. He’s been promising this mythical Inglorious Bastards movie for nearly a decade, and we all keep listening because… well… frankly it sounds pretty damned good. Inglorious Bastards is supposed to be an homage (does QT do anything else?) to the same-named 1977 movie from Italian director Enzo G. Castellari as well as other similar films like The Dirty Dozen and The Great Escape. QT’s take on the genre is about a group of soldiers on their way to be executed in the midst of World War II. They get a last chance to earn a reprieve, and take it.

Finally when I had forgotten about this film Tarantino had to bring it up again why does this guy keeping torturing me why can't he just go away and mind his own business? God Tarantino is a tease. j/k
