Remember when Jeff Daniels was a huge star? Remember when he made beautiful, thought provoking films like Pleasantville? Heck, the guy got to star opposite Don Knotts. Not many actors can say that.

Well now he’s making movies named after defunct super-market chains and starring a dog that strongly resembles my mental image of Tee-Bo. The film is Because of Winn-Dixie and we have a first look at the new poster to be used in advertising it. Note the amazing way in which Jeff Daniels smile perfectly matches that of the dog. That’s skill folks. Check out the poster below. Looks a lot like Under the Tuscan Sun... with a devil dog. Because of Winn-Dixie his theaters everywhere February 18.
