Amazon Prime Day is here again, folks, and with it comes a wide array of excellent deals! There are plenty of great offers for movie fans, including a Blu-ray pre-order promotion for Barbie, the blockbuster that took cinema by storm this past summer. If you’re a fan of pop culture though, there’s a chance you may also be looking for items related to films or TV shows. May I recommend the always wonderful Funko Pop figures, which are Prime deal mainstays? The diminutive collectibles are downright sweet, and it feels like just about every movie or TV franchise has merchandise linked to the company. On that note, Spider-Man, Star Wars and Stranger Things are among the various branded figures you can buy at a bargain today.
By now, many are, at least, probably aware of the Funko Pop craze, if they’re not actually entrenched in it as is. These items are sweet large-headed figures that serve as cute recreations of some iconic characters and real-life people. Of course, if you’re like me, you’d probably gravitate towards the former category. There are so many to pick from on this particular Amazon Prime Day, and that information is sure to be music to Funko fans’ ears. I mean, how can you not love that Spider-Man: Beyond set featuring the assorted, costumed characters? Marvel fans may also appreciate that cute replica of Tessa Thomspson’s Valkyrie from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I can’t help but get into my feelings just a bit when I see the figure of Star Wars’ Jyn Erso, who didn’t get the happiest ending in Rogue One. I’m also tempted to pounce on that Stranger Things figure of Will from Season 1, which even features a small diorama that emulates his home in the Upside Down.
While the products listed above are cool enough, they’re just the tip of the Funko Pop iceberg, so to speak. Other franchises are also very well-represented. I don’t think I ever knew I wanted a Cool Runnings figure of John Candy’s Irv Blitzer until now. That’s such a niche piece of merchandise, and just I love it. Beloved Rugrats character Susie would also be great to have. And the replica of Spider-Man: No Way Home’s Green Goblin, who sports an altered costume, would also look nice on a desk or shelf.
Needless to say, there are a lot of Funko Pop items to pick from here, and it may be hard for fans to choose which ones they want to invest in.
