Paramount Recalls 100,000 Saving Private Ryan Blu-Rays
Saving Private Ryan is a natural for the high-def format, but after arriving on Blu-ray a few weeks ago, the WWII epic hit a snag: an audio glitch that forced Paramount to recall 100,000 copies.
The recall announcement came a little over a week after SPR's May 4th Blu-ray release as part of Paramount's snazzy "Sapphire Series" Blu-ray line. The Hollywood Reporter explains that the glitch is an audio-synch issue affecting Chapter 15 of the disc.
If you've already picked up a defective copy, fear not: you can call (888) 370-8621 to get on the list for a replacement.
