The Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures Joins Steam's Greenlight
You watch his show faithfully; you listen to him rant incessantly; it's time to play The Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures. The only problem is that before playing the game on the consumer-friendly Steam, the game has to be greenlit for the service, therefore you'll have to give the game an upvote or two on Steam's Greenlight service.
The game is a classic throwback to the age old platform adventure titles from the NES, SNES and Sega Genesis era (and if you're a real geek, the Turbo Grafix 16 and Amiga). Considering that titles like No Time to Explain, Evoland and Anodyne have been greenlit for Steam, it probably won't take a lot of effort to get The Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures on Steam's store.
Considering that the teaser trailer does a piss poor job of actually explaining what the game is about, you can easily tell from the screenshots on the Greenlight page that platforming is main gimmick of the game. The only thing I'm curious about is will this game be as hard as the games that the AVGN plays or will there be some other gimmick tossed in to offset the difficulty? It seems like it would be kind of silly if the AVGN's game was just as ball-bustingly hard as a lot of the games he trashes.
Still, if you're curious to find out more feel free to visit the official Greenlight page.
