According to a new report from Collider, it appears that new details regarding the actual story of Goldie Hawn and Amy Schumer's currently untitled mother/daughter film have finally surfaced. During a recent interview, screenwriter Katie Dippold explained that the film revolves around a daughter who takes her recently divorced and somewhat neurotic mother on a trip to an Amazon rainforest. Something goes seriously wrong during the course of their vacation, and the film follows them as they embark on a mad dash to make it to an American embassy.

Boiled down to its basic elements, it's a typical road-trip movie that has the added benefit of two of the strongest female comedians from two different cinematic eras. Katie Dippold would go on to explain this particular story is actually based upon her own experienced with her mother's recent divorce, and her own fantasy about getting her mother back out into the world. Some of the best comedy comes from the most personal of places, so this has us holding out hope that the film maintains that comedic tradition.
