New Fantastic Beasts Clip Shows A Pint Sized Magical Creature

Are you ready to be whisked away to a magical place where anything is possible? Of course you are. The imminent release of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them has seems to have any and every self-respecting Harry Potter fan on pins and needles -- and rightfully so. It looks like a seriously faithful take on J.K. Rowling's established wizard world. A brand new clip from the film has just dropped online, and it highlights one of the film's smaller fantastic beasts. Check it out below.

If you had any apprehension about whether or not the beasts would actually be fantastic in this movie, then wonder no longer. That clip perfectly encapsulates the exotic nature of Fantastic Beasts' titular creatures and has us wanting more. The sequence in question sees Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) tending to a group of "Bowtruckles" while his No-Maj friend, Jacob Kowalski (Dan Fogler), watches in awe.

Like so many other clips that have been released to accompany the upcoming debut of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, the beauty of this scene lies in the juxtaposition of Jacob and Newt's attitudes towards magic. Newt is used to these insane creatures, but Jacob gets to experience all of it for the first time, which in turn makes him the audience surrogate. Just as Harry got to experience new and exciting aspects of the wizard world throughout his own series, Jacob acts as our way in to this new world. Admit it, you would react the exact same way if you saw a Bowtruckle in real life.

It's also definitely worth noting that this clip represents the next installment in Fantastic Beasts' excellent marketing campaign. The caption accompanying the clip states that it's the third in a series of Emoji magic spells, and the final spell one will be posted tomorrow prior to the film's release. Over the course of the last few days, fans have been posting a variety of Emoji combinations in the hopes of unlocking exclusive Fantastic Beasts content. It has made the marketing for the film feel endlessly interactive, and it further emphasizes the secretive nature of the wizard world. Whenever we unlock something new from this awesome campaign we really feel like we have earned it.

CinemaBlend will keep you posted regarding any and all relevant updates related to the upcoming release of Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them as more information becomes available to us. The brand new Harry Potter spin-off will hit theaters later this month on November 18.
