After a long year of delays, Marvel fans were delighted when Phase Four finally began through shows on Disney+, as well as the release of Black Widow. The next movie hitting theaters will be Destin Daniel Cretton’s Shang-Chi and the Legend fo the Ten Rings, debuting Simu Liu as the newest MCU hero. Chris Hemsworth is just as excited for Shang-Chi as the rest of us, so bring on the Thor crossovers.

Chris Hemsworth is showing no signs of slowing down in the MCU, with Thor: Love and Thunder marking the first time a hero has been given a fourth solo movie. As such, he’s invested in the future of the shared universe, starting with the upcoming release of Shang-Chi. Hemsworth shared said excitement on social media, even getting a response from Simu Liu himself. Check it out below,

Same, though. Chris Hemsworth clearly can’t wait to see the next installment in the MCU, just like the rest of us. There’s no telling where the new titular hero could go in the greater shared universe, but hopefully his path will eventually cross with the God of Thunder down the line.

The above post comes to us from Twitter, with Simu Liu sharing sharing a funny response to Chris Hemsworth’s excitement over Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. We’re just a few weeks away from that movie’s release, where audiences will meet Liu’s superpowered hero and no doubt witness dizzying action sequences. Hopefully Hemsworth returns to social media to share his reaction upon seeing the MCU blockbuster.

Marvel’s streaming home is on Disney+, which will feature Shang-Chi after its initial theatrical run. You can use this link to sign up for the streaming service.

Given the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s penchant for serialized storytelling and crossovers, fans are eager to learn how Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will factor into the overall franchise. While there’s currently no plans for a new Avengers movie, there are a number of new heroes being introduced throughout Phase Four. Hopefully we’ll get to see them interact with favorites like Thor before long.

For his part, there are big things coming for Chris Hemsworth’s beloved hero. Taika Waititi’s Thor: Love and Thunder could go seemingly anywhere, as the God of Thunder departed into space with the Guardians of the Galaxy in Avengers: Endgame. The sequel will also feature the Natalie Portman’s return to Jane Foster, as she becomes Mighty Thor.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will arrive in theaters on September 3rd. In the meantime, check out the 2021 movie release dates to plan your next movie experience.
