Now reports say Kardashian's business executive half-sister, Kylie Jenner, followed suit with a private shower of her own the next day. The party was top secret, because the Kylie Cosmetics CEO has neither confirmed nor denied reports about her pregnancy. A new story about Jenner's supposed pregnancy seems to surface each day, and at this point, it would be surprising to learn the 20-year-old reality television personality had not been pregnant all along. Still, it makes sense Jenner wanted privacy, though we are happy details leaked because they sound cute.
Reportedly, Kylie Jenner held the baby shower at her home in Hidden Hills, California. A source for People said Jenner's shower had a pajama-party theme, an idea Kim Kardashian previously used for one of her past showers. Kylie Jenner had attended Kim Kardashian's shower, as did Kardashian's celebrity girlfriends Chrissy Teigen and Maria Menounos. Other Keeping Up with the Kardashians family members like Kendall Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, and Kris Jenner had also attended the KKW Beauty owner's party on Saturday, so Kim Kardashian and those KUWTK relatives stopped by Kylie Jenner's impromptu event on Sunday as well.
If it is true Kylie Jenner had a secret baby shower and managed to keep it under wraps, save for some friends speaking to the press, it says a lot about how much she has grown this year. Jenner is a queen of social media, so not posting about something as exciting as a shower must have been hard for her. But it emphasizes her desire for privacy after years of constant media and paparazzi attention.
While Kylie Jenner's pregnancy remains in the realm of speculation right now, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are being candid about their excitement over meeting their new edition when their surrogate gives birth in early 2018. In fact, Kardashian used KUWTK to open up about her desire to have a third child, her decision to go the surrogacy route, and the successful impregnation of her surrogate. At least one of the KUWTK personalities is being upfront about the whole deal.
Speaking of which, if Kim Kardashian has had her baby shower, and Kylie Jenner supposedly has had hers, the KUWTK sisters could complete the trifecta with one for Khloe Kardashian. After all, reports say the 33-year-old Revenge Body celebrity is pregnant with her first child with her Cleveland Cavaliers basketball player boyfriend, Tristan Thompson. But like Kylie Jenner, Khloe Kardashian has neither confirmed nor denied the rumors, and as evidenced by the pictures Khloe Kardashian posted to social media during Kim Kardashian's party, she might not be far enough along to want a shower yet anyway--if the reports are accurate.
So, we'll put a pin in the KUWTK baby shower madness for now and hopefully circle back if and when Khloe Kardashian throws one. (And this is just a guess, but it probably will have neither a cherry-blossoms theme nor a pajama-party theme but something a little more representative of Khloe Kardashian's fun-loving taste.)
