Hugh Jackman Offers Blake Lively Free Coffee Forever As Thanks For Putting Up With Ryan Reynolds
Hugh Jackman wants to get coffee with Blake Lively. But don't worry, there are no romantic affairs in bloom here. Jackman isn't looking to start any trouble with his wife or Ryan Reynolds -- beyond their usual riffing, of course. Rather, Jackman wants to give Lively free coffee for life as a means of saying "thank you" for putting up with her A-list husband. It's a big job, undoubtedly, and Jackman knows it's not an easy one. Lively needs all the energy she can muster.
The cheeky Twitter post from Hugh Jackman finds the former Wolverine actor promoting his latest venture Laughing Man Coffee Company with some celebrity guests. Jackman writes the goal of the coffee is to "make people happy" instead of driving them nuts. The picture provided finds Blake Lively seemingly in the midst of a fight (presumably a staged one for the photograph, but still amusing) with her famous hubby, Ryan Reynolds. As Jackman notes, she'll be given coffee "forever" to assure that their marriage remains a sane, agreeable one, with (hopefully) only a minimal amount of arguing.
The X-Men actors have a long history of poking each other's ribs, and this social media photo is just the latest example. But it's all in good fun. Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds are clearly good friends, personally and professionally, and that is made evident here since Reynolds is taking the time to help promote Jackman's new business. Now that Jackman has hung up his silver claws for good, he is apparently giving the coffee business a go.
We'll simply have to wait and see if it is nearly as profitable and successful for the A-list actor as making multi-million dollars movies has been for him. Regardless, Hugh Jackman is clearly excited about it, and he brought his celebrity friends along to help him boost up the coffee business' status. The fighting might not help bring in potential customers, however, so The Front Runner actor wants to provide Blake Lively with a simple favor and keep her spirits up.
Of course, when you have Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, and Hugh Jackman all palling around in the same place at the same time, it's bound to draw a crowd. One can only hope that Laughing Man Coffee Company is bringing in bigger crowds than The Front Runner did during its brief theatrical run. It is still the early days for the coffee company, however, so we'll need to check in later to see how it is shaping up for new entrepreneur Hugh Jackman.
Best of luck to Hugh Jackman -- and, obviously, to Blake Lively and her famous relationship too. Should the coffee invitation become something more serious, we'll be sure to keep you posted.
