Jeremy Renner Names Daughter Ava Berlin, Rate His Choice

Avengers star Jeremy Renner is a father for the first time! The forty-two-year-old’s model girlfriend Sonni Pacheco gave birth to a beautiful seven pound baby yesterday. Both mother and daughter (yes, I said daughter) are said to be doing extremely well, and both mother and father are said to be thrilled about the exciting new addition into their lives.

Perhaps even more excitingly for fans, Renner and Pacheco have also already settled on a name. According to US Weekly, the little girl will be known as Ava Berlin Renner. As celebrity names go, that handle is obviously way more inside the box than usual, but there’s something about it that still has a little bit of flare. It’s like a black dress with a little pop of color.

At least that’s what I think. Ava Berlin is probably one of my favorite celebrity names of recent memory (sorry Rainbow, Keeva and Lincoln), but my perspective definitely hasn’t been the only one. There are others who think given Berlin and Hitler’s mistress being named Eva Braun, that there’s something too oddly German about Ava Berlin. Then again, there are also others who just don’t get why Berlin is a name at all.

What do you think of Ava Berlin? Let us know your thoughts by voting in the poll below…
