Fall television is still a ways off into the future, but fans of The Flash are already getting an early look at Caitlin Snow’s killer new look for Season 6. Thanks to her portrayer, Danielle Panabaker that is. The actress posted a picture from the set, as filming on Season 6 continues to get underway.

Fans can check out Danielle Panabaker's revised look in her Twitter post below.

As fans of The Flash will recall, and the image above demonstrates, her new look is a significant switch-up from the icy heroine's former get-up. In seasons prior, Danielle Panabaker donned a much more subdued aesthetic. Now, she and Killer Frost are rocking a dramatic upgrade, and it's one that earned a witty caption from Panabaker in the post.

Before, she was rocking a dark and more straightforward outfit. This one features an elevated burst of color via dark blue accenting, and there is also a pattern that gives the design a sense of movement.

Perhaps the most distinguishing feature of Killer Frost’s rebooted look is the shiny snowflake that is pretty much the centerpiece of the costume, and I think it looks marvelous! The bodice also features a streamlined design that compliments the other aspects of the outfit. Overall, this is a considerable retool that'll keep her looking nifty while she's giving foes the cold shoulder and then some.

This new look is somewhat more in line with what Killer Frost wore way back in Season 3, which also rocked a blue hue. However, the overall design was entirely different. This Season 6 version feels like more of a blend between Killer Frost and Caitlin’s different styles. Check out Killer Frost’s former look in Season 3 below:

Compare Season 3 to 4, 5, and then Season 6 and you can see where The Flash has really evolved things for Caitlin. At least she doesn't have to worry about the sometimes awkward mask changes that Barry has gone through as The Flash.

As for Barry, next season will not see the superhero wearing a beard. If you were a fan of the idea of him rocking one in Season 6, perhaps as he stresses over the thought of Nora's existence being erased, Grant Gustin’s preparation for the new season has ruled that out. At least for when Season 6 gets started.

It is going to be a fun season for fans! As for Nora West-Allen’s future on The Flash. Her Season 6 status has been explained by actress Jessica Parker Kennedy. New additions will reportedly include a male big bad, though. Cisco’s status was still a mystery late last month, and it remains that way now.

From the sound of things, The Flash will be introducing a significant moment from the “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover early on next season. Will the show be bringing back any dead or absent villains next season? One actor had his say on the matter.

Check out Danielle Panabaker’s new costume in full when Season 6 premieres October 8 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW. We can probably expect a premiere trailer to be released at San Diego Comic-Con next weekend, though. You can currently catch up or relive the first five seasons of The Flash on Netflix, along with other premieres. If you are already caught up, check out this summer’s premieres to pass the time.
