The circumstances surrounding Britney Spears’ conservatorship has been the talk of the town since the Hulu premiere of Framing Britney Spears last January. In the documentary, Spears is framed as a victim of celebrity and fame gone awry due to heightened media and family pressures. You wouldn't know it from Spears’ TikTok account, though, as the singer took the time to write an A+ birthday wish to her boyfriend.

The pop icon used her social media accounts to send a playful and sweet birthday message to her boyfriend of four years, 27-year-old Sam Asghari. The post reads, “Happy birthday to the man that always makes me laugh !!!!! Who did it better ????”

As you can see in the video below, Britney Spears and her boyfriend both took part in the viral “Toxic” TikTok challenge. Participants rub their mouths on a shower wall at the precise moment of the riff on Spears’ end chorus line in “Toxic.” Check out Spears and Sam Asghari’s renditions:

Britney Spears definitely knows how to have a bit of fun when she wants to, whether it be on social media or talk shows. Many probably remember her Ew! segment with The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon.

Clearly the TikTok video shows Britney Spears living her best life. She seems effortlessly happy and carefree – hanging out with her boyfriend in a lavish bathrobe no less. Still, it is a wonder that the TikTok challenge made it to the pop star’s radar.

Fans are nonetheless absolutely living for Britney Spears’ play on the 2004 song that won her a Grammy for Best Dance Recording. Many have taken to Spears’ various social media accounts to voice their ecstatic reactions. They proclaimed it "iconic" and "relationship goals."

Sam Asghari is often featured in Britney Spears’ pics and videos she shares online. The two, who met while filming her 2016 “Slumber Party” music video, have been dating longer than even her marriage to ex-husband Kevin Federline. Spears and Asghar are clearly very comfortable being silly and candid with one another, which the fans haven’t missed either. One fan even noted, "So dead that you make him hold the phone with the screen facing you so you can see yourself. Legends only move."

Britney Spears’ use of social media has been widely speculated about in both the documentary and by fans. Many believe the Grammy-winning singer is trying to convey to the public hidden clues about her conservatorship situation. The TikTok challenge with Sam Asghari seems more like a happy-go-lucky moment with no obvious secret clues to be found. Although, surely, Britney Hive might have some thoughts on the star playing off the clear toxic allusions in the song. If it is really Britney Spears writing her Instagram captions, though, the only answer to her question is obvious: it's Britney, bitch.
