Chris Pratt And Kurt Russell Posted An Awesome Selfie On The Set Of Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2

If you're reading this it's because you love movies. You would be excited if you ever had a chance to meet your favorite actor. You're not all that different from Chris Pratt. Ok, you're probably actually very different from Chris Pratt, but both of you would probably have really goofy grins on your face if you were taking a photo with a favorite actor. One similar to the amazing grin that Pratt has when posing with Kurt Russell. Check it out.

One has the distinct impression that Chris Pratt was trying to take a single photo with Kurt Russell on the set of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, but didn't realize his phone was set to take video. As such, what we get is the two standing motionless while seemingly waiting for the picture to be taken. Somehow, it works. The two are likely staring at themselves in the phone screen and laughing at themselves standing there smiling. Pratt is obviously having a blast standing there with an actor he says he's a fan of. One expects that Kurt Russell may have posed for a lot of pictures during his time on the set of Guardians 2.

Because who isn't a fan of Kurt Russell? If you're a fan of Guardians of the Galaxy then there's a good chance that you're a fan of Kurt Russell's other excursions into genre filmmaking, like The Thing, Big Trouble in Little China, and Escape from New York, and possibly even Escape from L.A. The fact that Russell was cast in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was huge news when it broke. Seeing him become part of the MCU is a big deal.

Of course, Chris Pratt and Kurt Russell's characters have a much deeper connection in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 than simply appearing in the same film. Russell will be playing Ego the Living Planet, who we know will be revealed as Star-Lord's father. We've only seen the briefest glimpse of him in the trailers, though we've known for quite some time what the relationship would be. While many fans were shocked to see the reveal in the most recent trailer, James Gunn has been saying for months that knowing who the father of Peter Quill is will not have a significant impact on a fan's enjoyment of the movie.

When it comes to actual spoilers, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 appears to have done a pretty good job. We have only the barest understanding of what the plot of the movie actually is. The trailers have given us very little in that regard so we'll likely be learning all the details as they happen on screen when the film opens in May. Considering how great the last film was, expectations for the sequel are high. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will be here May 5.
