The 2017 Game Awards Have Announced The Nominees, Check Out The Complete List

Mario sprints forward in Super Mario Odyssey.

This past year has been absolutely huge for video games, which means it's especially difficult to determine which titles should be considered the best of the best. Still, the folks running The Game Awards are going to try to do exactly that on Dec. 7, and they've released the full roster of nominees for folks to debate in the coming weeks.

This year's roster of Game Awards nominees includes 102 games spread across about 30 categories. A panel of judges has been playing and rating all of this year's biggest titles and, come Dec. 7, winners aplenty will be crowned during a live broadcast. The show is set to kick off at 5:30 p.m. for folks on the West coast, though the official website has a handy airtime tracker in case you need to figure out when to tune in.

Just like last year, The Game Awards will broadcast online in about a dozen locations, including all major streaming services like Twitch and Youtube, as well as on games platforms like Steam, PlayStation and Xbox. You can also tune in through social media apps like Twitter and Facebook Live, or through game sites including IGN and Gamespot. Between all of that, you should have little trouble finding a place to watch.

We're still about 23 days out from the big show, though, which means there's plenty of time to pour over the nominations and figure out which games you think are deserving of a shiny statue.
