DICE is letting players take a peak at another map from Battlefield 3: Close Quarters today. The Donya Fortress map takes place inside a massive building somewhere in the Middle East.
Donya Fortress is the second CQ map revealed thus far. The first was Ziba Tower. The DLC pack will contain four maps in total.
The maps of Close Quarters focus on indoor combat. The tighter maps enable DICE to provide more detailed environment destruction. The expansion provides you with five new dog tags to earn, and ten Assignments to complete. The assignments will unlock the following weapons:
- AUG Assault Rifle
- SCAR Assault Rifle
- ACW-R Carbine
- MTAR-21 Carbine
- M417 Sniper Rifle
- JNG-90 Sniper Rifle
- L86LSW Machine Gun
- LSAT Machine Gun
- M5K Tactical Machine Pistol
- SPAS-12 Shotgun
Close Quarters is due in June. It'll be priced at $14.99 (or 1200 MS Points). PS3 owners will get it a week earlier than everyone else due to an agreement between Sony and EA.
DICE plans to release three expansions in the coming year. The next expansion after Close Quarters will be Armored Kill, which focuses on expansive outdoor maps filled with vehicles. A few months after Armored's fall debut, DICE will release Battlefield 3: End Game. They haven't said anything about that particular DLC pack yet.
