Animal Killing Mommys

If there’s one thing I have learned from my years of impulse movie rentals, it's that I will fork over a couple dollars based on film title alone. In fact, most of my time at Hollywood Video involves sauntering in the comedy and horror sections, looking for funny tag lines and borderline pornos. Bill Goldberg as Santa Clause? Game on. She’s All That?. Might be a porno! Sadly, not a porno. Thankfully, in my outlandish title search, I have come across a film that has more than peaked my crazy interests.

According to The Hollywood Reporter Halo-8 Entertainment has picked up the rights to the animal-rights documentary Your Mommy Kills Animals. I’m definitely not going to see this in theaters, but I guarantee that at some point, probably during a drunken adventure to Blockbuster, that this will seem like a phenomenal idea.

Mommy Kills is helmed by Curt Johnson and follows the animal rights issue through a series of exposes and celebrity interviews. It will also include sit downs with younger activists who use borderline terrorists tactics. The picture is set to open nowhere near you in September and be released on video a few months later.
