Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice tells the singular story of how Lex Luthor manipulated the Dark Knight to try and kill the Man of Steel, but it also made some major moves in setting up the future of the DC Cinematic Universe. From future Justice League member cameos to special time travel moments and possible glimpses of the future, the blockbuster worked to set up a story that we will see unfold over the next four years.

In the coming months and years, we will see "solo" films featuring the Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern Corps, and Cyborg as well as two Justice League titles. How does Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice set them up? What do the comics hint about possible directions? That’s what we’re fully dissecting in this week’s Hero Blend.

Joining me to talk all about Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is Cinema Blend’s own Sean O’Connell, who has some very different opinions about the film, but also some creative ideas about how the franchise should be steered into the future. Enjoy the show!
