Gwyneth Paltrow Thinks Of Her Ex Husband Chris Martin As A Sibling
There are a lot of celebrity couples that have made their marks on Hollywood history. Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow were one of those, thanks in part to memorably naming their first kid Apple or the epic divorce that Paltrow called "conscious uncoupling." Although, it was only in 2016 when her divorce to her former husband Chris Martin was finalized (they split in 2014), the actress recently revealed that Martin is more like a sibling than a former lover these days. Gwyneth Paltrow recently spoke out on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, saying:
Both Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have moved on in the time since they were together, so it makes sense that their relationship would move into a different phase, as well. Martin has been seen with Fifty Shades Freed actress Dakota Johnson, and Gwyneth Paltrow is currently engaged to popular producer Brad Falchuk. Both seem pretty happy, and according to what Paltrow herself told Stephen Colbert, she sees her ex-husband as a brother these days.
Gwyneth Paltrow has kind of made a career out of saying weird shit, so this sibling related comment comes as no surprise. Regardless, the sentiment is there. Paltrow has made no bones about wanting to turn her divorce from Chris Martin into "a positive," previously saying she needed to "check her own shit at the door" and "put her kids first." The actress touched again on the subject while speaking on The Late Show, noting that divorce isn't the easiest road to travel.
If Chris Martin is less your cup of tea, Gwyneth Paltrow did also talk about Avengers: Infinity War during the course of her interview. You can see more, below.
Coming up, Gwyneth Paltrow is going to be pretty busy. In addition to running her online Goop empire, the actress has appearances coming up in both Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4. Plus, she has that whole wedding to Brad Falchuck to plan. We'll keep you updated as the whole wedding begins to pan out, but for now check out everything we know about Avengers: Infinity War.
