Khloe Kardashian Opens Up About Brother Rob's Weight Gain

Khloe Kardashian in a Keeping Up interview

Khloe Kardashian opened up about her brother Rob Kardashian's highly publicized weight gain. In a new clip from Revenge Body with Khloe Kardashian, the E! host discussed her sibling's weight concerns of late, and how she could ultimately sympathize with what he faces during this physical process.

I know how you feel. You feel trapped in your own body, and I feel that way for my brother, who has gained a lot of weight. It's debilitating.

The second season clip shows Khloe Kardashian talking to a young married couple, Chad and Allison, with two varying weight concerns. One wants to lose weight, the other finds himself too skinny for his own good. After revealing their story to Khloe, she got personal, discussing Rob's weight. Khloe went on to discuss the dangers of body shaming -- not merely for overweight people, but for those who find themselves underweight as well.

I think people don't sympathsize when people are body shamed for being too thin. My sister Kendall, when she was growing up, she was very skinny, and she used to get bullied all the time for being too skinny. And I think body shaming of any kind is still bullying and not acceptable.

Khloe Kardashian is someone who has dealt with body shaming throughout her life and career. Even as recently as this year, the reality TV starlet has found herself criticized by people on social media for working out during her pregnancy. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is currently with her first child, a boy, with NBA player Tristan Thompson. They plan to raise the baby together in both Los Angeles and Cleveland, to accommodate for both Thompson's Cavaliers career and Khloe's TV career. The pregnancy was announced only recently when she revealed the news on Instagram.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Khloe Kardashian opened up about these concerns delivered towards her health.

It's bizarre to me that people don't want me to be happy and stay healthy and fit. My doctor wants me to work out everyday if I could, so I'm doing doctor's orders and I feel good... Whatever you do before you're pregnant, you're allowed to continue, and they say it leads for a better delivery. I feel great, and I would feel horrible if I was just sitting around, overeating all day... I don't have swollen feet, I don't have a lot of these things because I'm staying so active right now. So, as long as I can, I want to keep that up.

Khloe Kardashian isn't the only sibling to get honest about the Kardashian/Jenner clan. In a recent interview with Vogue India, Kim Kardashian West talked about Rob Kardashian's "moodiness," along with Khloe's "stubbornness," relating to qualities that she would take away from her siblings if she could. To be fair, she also praised her brother for his sense of humor, as well as Khloe's "I-don't-give-a-fuck attitude." Rob hasn't responded to either comment. It's worth noting that Rob Kardashian's health has concerned the famous family lately, particularly when he was rushed to the hospital last year for issues related to his diabetes.
