Watch Cardi B Twerk To Celebrate Another Number 1 Hit
Cardi B is number one again, and she's ready to tell the world all about it. On Instagram, the "Bodak Yellow" rapper celebrated her most recent climb to the top of the charts by joyfully dancing and twerking to the happy news. Check out the clip of Cardi B twerking to her celebratory achievement below.
As you can see, Cardi B is a very happy woman right now. And she has a number of good reasons to be happy at the moment. Her single, "I Like It," with Bad Bunny and J Balvin, is now at number one on the Billboard charts, which makes Cardi B the first female rapper in history with two Number 1 hits on the chart. Previously, she was number one for her aforementioned hit single "Bodak Yellow," for three weeks last year. When that position was taken by Taylor Swift and the pop singer's own single, "Look What You Made Me Do," though, Cardi B had no hard feelings. The rapper extended her heartfelt congratulations to her fellow musician by sending her flowers. Cardi B also said that she greatly enjoyed Taylor Swift's latest hit song too.
Additionally, as you can see in the social media video up above, Cardi B is currently pregnant with her first child, hence why she is not touring at the moment -- even though she's at the height of her career presently. Don't expect to see many updates about the child, as B wants to keep some things private in her life, but she has been providing updates about the pregnancy on her social media feeds since the news became public during her most recent Saturday Night Live performance.
Also, the cat's out of the bag. Cardi B is actually married to her finance, Offset, and they have been hitched since September when the musician couple decided to spontaneously get married in their bedroom one day. They previously kept their marriage a secret, and they are still planning to have an official wedding once Cardi B gives birth to her first child. But they surprised fans everywhere with this recent surprise revelation in their relationship.
With all that said, it's a great time to be Cardi B right now, and she's living it up to the fullest at the moment. This is likely on the beginning, and we're sure Cardi B is only going to keep rising up the ranks, especially as her first studio album, Invasion of Privacy, continues to sell well. She wasn't the highest selling album of the year so far (that distinction goes to The Greatest Showman's soundtrack, much to some people's surprise), but her star is only expected to rise higher from this point forward. We wish her the best of luck in her continued success. And, of course, when it comes to all the most recent developments in her exciting life, we'll be sure to keep you posted right here at CinemaBlend.
