Channing Tatum And Jenna Dewan Are Already Dating Other People

Channing Tatum Kingsman: The Golden Circle/ Jenna Dewan Supergirl

This weekend, Channing Tatum can be seen -- or, rather, heard -- in his newest film, the animated family comedy Smallfoot. With a string of different projects on the horizon, including (of course) the long-promised Gambit, there's a good chance we'll be seeing Tatum on the big screen again soon. And in his private life, Tatum is seeing other people. Specifically, he's getting himself back into the dating game after his break-up with his wife, Jenna Dewan. Now that they've settled into their separation, they're beginning the process of moving on. And Dewan has reportedly started seeing other people too.

Here's what we know about the situation. According to Yahoo! Entertainment, Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan have started seeing other people in the five months since they announced their separation. However, neither are them are in any serious romantic relationships at the moment. For all intensive purposes, they are merely dating at the moment. However, if they're both in the dating game again, that means they're looking to mingle.

There are a couple of reasons why they are not jumping headfirst into any relationships at the moment, it seems. One of those reasons relates to their schedules. Channing Tatum is, of course, busy with a variety of different film projects in various stages at the moment. Jenna Dewan is similarly busy with her other projects as well. She's a host of World of Dance, and she's currently filming a guest arc on the Fox series The Resident in Atlanta.

Work is a primary focus for the former couple at the moment, but they are also looking out for their daughter Everly, who is 5. In their initial statement, the former couple claimed that their daughter was one of their primary focuses as they transition into this newest stage of their life. As they continue to find some balance for the child in the midst of this divorce, they want to transition things as smoothly and as gently as they possibly can for young Everly. Currently, the divorce proceedings between Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan are believed to be "amicable." The once-married couple is currently selling their home in Beverly Hills, and have been in the midst of dividing their assets. As far as these things go, they're handling it well, it seems.

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan were first introduced to each other when they starred in the 2006 dance flick Step Up. The dancers-turned-actors got married back in 2009, and they've had nearly 10 years of marriage before they called it quits earlier this year. Before they were separated, they were considered to be among Hollywood's most committed couples, which is what made the news sad for their many fans. It hasn't been clear why they decided to end their marriage, mostly because Tatum and Dewan seemingly don't want to discuss the matter publicly. In any case, we're happy to know things are going pretty well.

Smallfoot is now playing in theaters.
