Katt Williams Involved In A Disturbance At Subway
Comedian Katt Williams continued his epic run of strange confrontations with lawmen last night at a Subway in West Hollywood, California. The comedian was waiting outside the establishment for his buddy/ tour manager Suge Knight who was getting a manicure/ pedicure at a local nail salon in the same complex when the cops showed up. Apparently, they received a call about Williams disturbing the peace.
According to TMZ, Williams was handcuffed, put in the back of a police car and interviewed. It’s unclear what exactly they were told happened by whoever called 911, but at least one Subway employee said the funnyman didn’t do anything wrong. Apparently, the police officers agreed, though with one unfortunate difference. They wrote Williams a ticket for parking too close to the curb.
Unfortunately for Knight, the brouhaha involving Williams led police to run his license when he emerged from the nail salon, and several outstanding traffic warrants came up. He was written a ticket for not handling those run-ins with the law but like Katt, was allowed to leave the scene without heading off to jail.
I don’t know what exactly happened in or outside this Subway, but whatever it was, it sounds like it wasn’t that big of a deal. Sadly for Katt, however, he’s had so many different public spats with the police over the past few months that now people will likely call the cops over the slightest issues, making it even harder for him to stay out of trouble.
