Fuller House Just Cast Kimmy Gibbler's Brother, Check Him Out

Fuller House's second season has been in production for some time now, but the show is still casting some exciting characters. Recently, we learned the Netflix comedy had cast Kimmy Gibbler's brother, and he'll be played by none other than Switched at Birth actor Adam Hagenbuch. If you don't watch the Freeform series, you can take a look at the actor, below.

Adam Hagenbuch is set to play Jimmy, which is surprisingly not the name of the brother Kimmy Gibbler mentioned during the original run of Full House years ago. Back in the day, Kimmy Gibbler reportedly had a brother named Garth, but we never actually met him on the small screen. In fact, we never actually met any members of her family during the show's original run. But Fuller House has been all about introducing new characters, and Kimmy Gibbler plays a more prominent role on the Netflix comedy than she did on the original, so it makes sense we would meet a member of her family now that she has a daughter and a sometimes-ex husband in the picture.

We don't know much about Jimmy. E! reports he's totally the "male version" of Kimmy, so expect him to be eccentric and to presumably put together oddball clothing ensembles. His role is not going to be a one-off, either. Reports indicate Adam Hagenbuch will at least be on board for a handful of Season 2 episodes and his role qualifies as a recurring guest role. Hagenbuch had a similar role on Undateable, appearing in six episodes. His role on Switched At Birth has been a bit bigger, with twelve episodes under the actor's belt in 2015. The latter series is expected to return for its final season in 2017.

Netflix has stayed fairly tight-lipped regarding the overarching plot of Fuller House's second season. We obviously know that DJ will still be dealing with a love triangle. We also know that a few brand new characters will be introduced, like Jimmy, and a few characters from the original series have been recast. New Kids on the Block will even make an appearance. However, a lot of the other plots are still up in the air and we can't wait to see how they pan out.

Luckily, we don't have too much longer to wait. Netflix already announced that Season 2 of Fuller House is happening far earlier than expected. New episodes are going to hit the schedule on December 9 at 12:01 a.m. PT. To find out what else we know about the second season of the comedy, head here.
