It's been two weeks since the release of Stranger Things Season 2, and folks still can't get enough of the lovable kids who make the show great. The boys were featured on The Late Late Show With James Corden a couple days ago, which resulted in a Motown segment that gives any episode of Carpool Karaoke a run for its money. Corden sang with the boys, and they all came together to form "The Upside Downs." Take a look, below:
Talk about an unexpected segment! Whoever pitched James Corden and the boys of Stranger Things coming together Jackson 5 style needs a raise. That same person should also get a little extra on their Christmas bonus, as well, for dressing James Corden up like Eleven. Although, it was a bit disappointing there wasn't a surprise Millie Bobbie Brown appearance in there somewhere. While Corden was a step above the boys on the live music segment, it was surprising to see some of the kids actually have decent singing voices!
The internet apparently agrees, and the video has netted over 3 million views on YouTube in a little over two days. The most hilarious reaction so far are the people calling out actor Noah Schnapp for potentially letting something slip that The Late Late Show With James Corden's editors didn't seem to catch. At around 2:19 in the video, fans will hear Schnapp let loose a celebration that sounds a lot like he's saying "fuck yeah." Hopefully, the FCC has some Stranger Things-watching workers that are big enough fans of Will Byers that they'll let it slide this one time.
So, what are the boys chances of ever singing again for anything other than a sketch? That's hard to say, although prior to his stint on Stranger Things, Gaten Matarazzo and his sister did sing before a New York Mets baseball game:
Stranger Things Season 2 is currently streaming on Netflix. It's a good thing the new season is going over well with fans, as it appears their original content will see some competition with Disney and its new streaming service.
