New Arrow-verse Crossover Trailer Gives Closest Look At Earth-X Yet

The mega crossover that will bring the heroes of Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl together on The CW is only days away from premiering. Called "Crisis On Earth-X," the crossover will pit the good guys of Earth-1 against their doubles from Earth-X. As Earth-X is a world in which the Nazis won World War II, it's bound to be extremely different from the Earth to which our heroes are accustomed. Previous trailers and promos have given quick glimpses of Earth-X, but now a new trailer has hit the web to give a much closer look at what appears to be a truly horrifying place. Check it out!

In this new trailer, we see a building marked with Nazi insignia as well as a zeppelin flying around a city. The red skies are pretty scary, which could point to something devastating to the planet taking place at the end of World War II to guarantee the Nazi victory, or it could be a sign that the Nazis in power have wrecked the environment themselves over the years since the end of the war. We then see soldiers patrolling the fences of what can only be a concentration camp, which is not something I ever expected to see on any Earth in the Arrow-verse.

There's a shot of Earth-X's Leonard Snart, who seems to be an officer in the evil regime. Dark Arrow--that is, the nefarious version of Oliver Queen's Green Arrow--can be seen standing in front of a banner. The slogan for the Earth-X Nazis seems to be "Hail victory!" All things considered, the red-tinged scenes that can only be taking place on Earth-X indicate that the villains are from a seriously scary place, and the good guys are going to be in a lot of trouble if they get stuck there.

The previous trailer pointed toward Supergirl in particular facing a major problem with the Nazi invasion. She brings the most superpowers to the table for the heroes of Earth-1, but she'll meet her match in Overgirl of Earth-X, and Overgirl will probably be willing to cross lines that Supergirl won't. The two seem to be trying to zap each other wither their ray vision while Overgirl is on Earth-1, and the shot of Supergirl falling from the sky may indicate that Overgirl is the winner.

Oddly enough, it's possible that one of the heroes with no superpowers at all could be the game-changer in taking out Overgirl. At the end of the footage, we can see Oliver as Green Arrow firing a kryptonite arrow. While an earlier scene shows Overgirl catching a kryptonite arrow before it can hit her, we shouldn't count Oliver out. He managed to shoot Barry with arrows back when Barry turned temporarily evil in the first Arrow-verse crossover; Oliver could very well manage to shoot Overgirl, and it would be pretty epic to see the non-superpowered Green Arrow take out the villain with the most superpowers of all.

We'll have to wait and see. The "Crisis On Earth-X" crossover will begin at 8 p.m. ET on November 27 with an episode of Supergirl, which will be followed by Arrow on a special night at 9 p.m. The second half of the crossover will pick up on November 28, with The Flash at 8 p.m. and Legends of Tomorrow at 9 p.m. This year's event promises to be a truly cinematic superhero adventure, and it could be the most intense on The CW to date. Be sure to tune in to see the heroes of these four shows (although with one missing) in action against the Nazis of Earth-X.
