Former Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey is all grown up these days and sharing a good portion of his life on OnlyFans. From nudity to life revelations, we’ve learned a lot about the actor in recent weeks and one of those things has to do with his sexuality. The actor opened up about being sexually fluid back in October and now he’s explained why he chose OnlyFans as the platform for sharing that personal detail with his fanbase.
Tyler Posey’s been looking at the way he wants to “portray [him]self to the world” lately. A former teen idol and role model in some ways, the actor has been open about substance use, OnlyFans nudity and much more in recent weeks. He says he wasn’t sure “what version of [him]self [he] wanted the world to see,” in a recent podcast with Variety, though coming out as sexually fluid just felt like the honest thing to do in the moment. As he said on the “Just for Variety” podcast:
I did this live on OnlyFans and they were asking me stuff that horny people would ask you: ‘Have you been with a man? Have you been with the opposite sex? What was it like?’ And I was just being honest about it, because no one’s ever asked me before.
OnlyFans has been a place where fans have had unprecedented access to various celebrities, including Tyler Posey, but also famous names like Cardi B, Bella Thorne and Tyga in recent months. It makes sense given Posey’s trajectory on the fan site that it would be the place where he did get personal with his sexuality, though he did mention it wasn’t exactly a well-thought-out plan.
Apparently, during one of these OnlyFans live sessions, Posey was asked the personal question about his sexuality and he just decided to go for it. He also called the moment a “split-second decision” on the podcast and talked out his thought process.
It was just a split-second decision. I didn’t think about how it would be received or what kind of press I would get on it, but I woke up the next day and it was all these tabloids about me coming out as pansexual. I didn’t label that. The kids, the fans, or whoever wrote those articles labeled that. I thought that was really interesting that it just broke down this wall that I didn’t feel like I put up, but it was easier for me to just be honest about all that stuff. I’m just really trying to make it artistic, but if I have to show my butt, I want to make it really funny, not take myself seriously, and bring that to OnlyFans, because that’s who I am. I am a little taboo. I’ve always been a little bit edgier and sexually inclined and just wanting to push the envelope in a bunch of different ways.
