If you've been paying attention, you'll know that the MCU is still going full steam ahead, having just wrapped up WandaVision on Disney+, with The Falcon and the Winter Solider now started and (roughly) another 2.5 billion shows currently in the works and at some stage of development for the streamer. Oscar Isaac is said to be taking on the title role in one of those upcoming projects, Moon Knight, and now we've gotten a look at the Star Wars and Dune star working hard on those much-needed fight skills ahead of filming.

We heard that Moon Knight was finally coming to live action all the way back in August 2019, and we're finally getting way closer to actually being able to see the new series, as it's rumored to begin filming sometime this month. Oscar Isaac is set to take on the MCU's legendary, Batman-esq hero, so it's not a huge surprise to find the actor working on perfecting his mad fight skills before he dons that ghostly costume on the small screen. Take a look at the video which was posted to the Instagram page of Isaac's production company, below!

OOOH! Punch, block, roundhouse, kick, punch, punch, block, twirl! It's all so exciting, isn't it?! While this short clip goes by pretty quickly and doesn't show Oscar Isaac and his training partners moving through the rehearsals at breakneck speed, we still get a very good look at the types of action we'll be seeing from Moon Knight when it debuts on Disney+.

One of the reasons that Moon Knight has been compared to Batman so often is because of his proficiency with a number of fighting styles. In his pre-superhero life, the man known originally as Marc Spector had been a Marine, professional boxer, and mercenary, who was well-versed in the use of several gadgets and weapons, making him a natural fit for the life of a crime fighter.

Of course, he also went on to become the earthly avatar of the vengeful Egyptian moon god Khonshu, and it seems like a good idea to go into an arrangement like that fight-ready. You know, just in case your pissed off god decides to give you some superpowers on top of your hard-won skills, and then take them away.

So far, much of Moon Knight is still a mystery, so we're not sure which parts of the character's (very intense) comic story will be brought onto the series. We do know that Ethan Hawke has signed on to play the Big Bad of the show, but also that Marc is likely to have at least a few other villains to deal with, but we don't know who, exactly, Hawke will be playing or whether or not the other bad guys will be directly related to his character.

Moon Knight is set to debut at some point in 2022, so we'll probably be seeing and hearing a lot more about the Oscar Isaac-led show in the coming weeks.
