Why 90 Day Fiance's Angela Deem Still Sounds Messy As Hell In New Season Of Happily Ever After

Angela Deem looking sassy 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? TLC

90 Day Fiancé has had its fair share of memorable participants over the years, though few are as iconic and memorable as Angela Deem. Angela has had fans in stitches with her blunt attitude and her general anger issues, which often led to all-out chaos for her Nigerian husband, Michael Ilesanmi. Those who feared marriage would cool Angela's temper down will be happy to know a recent interview just confirmed her upcoming appearance in Happily Ever After? Season 6 will be just as messy as past appearances.

Angela recently spoke about the upcoming season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? with Entertainment Tonight and revealed that her first year of marriage with Michael had been tough. So tough, in fact, that she teased divorce was not out of the question:

But at one point I was telling Michael, 'Somehow you changed since we got married and we're not even living together, yet. Like, don't take that for granted because there's always a damn divorce court around the corner. I mean, we went to hell. We literally went to hell and it was bad, and you'll see that.

Angela confirmed that she actually did speak to a divorce lawyer during that time, though the two are still currently together. As for what the latest drama in the couple's relationship was about, it appears that trust is still an issue between them. Angela has had trouble trusting Michael around women for some time now after he took oral sex as payment from a woman in his neighborhood who didn't have money to pay for a ride.

It's also fair to say the long-distance nature of their relationship has put a strain on the marriage as well. Michael was unable to obtain a K1 visa to travel to America, which was why Angela traveled to Nigeria. By being married in Nigeria, Michael was able to apply for a spousal visa but, at the time of writing, he has not been able to get approval to come into the country.

Obviously, this may mean that a lot of Angela's drama with Michael on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? will entail arguments over technology, though there is more to cover. Fans have noticed the star dropped a lot of weight since her last season in the franchise, so it's assumed her weight loss journey will be detailed as well. Audiences may remember Michael wasn't on board with Angela's weight loss plan, which could be a source of the pair's tension.

90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? premieres on TLC Sunday, April 25 at 8:00 p.m. ET. Those that tune in will see it's never a dull moment with Angela, who we recently learned had loose connections to a man that was arrested for murder.
