After Disney+s Hawkeye Wrapped Filming, MCU Star Jeremy Renner Shared Hopeful Message With Fans

Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye.

With The Falcon and the Winter Soldier now behind us, and with Loki getting ready to dominate the summer with its midweek episode drops, another Marvel and Disney+ series will soonishly be hitting the small screen. The highly-anticipated Hawkeye series officially wrapped filming recently, inspiring star Jeremy Renner to share a hopeful message for fans.

Over the months of Hawkeye's production, Jeremy Renner shared filming updates and gave fans behind-the-scenes looks at the upcoming superhero series he's co-starring in with Hailee Steinfeld. The actor, who portrays the titular superhero, gave fans one last update on his Instagram Stories after the last day of production had arrived. Appearing along with an eyes-into-the-camera selfie, Renner's message said:

Last day, for now... This is not goodbye, but a see you soon. Thank you cast, crew, and Marvel.

It’s not yet known when Hawkeye will make its premiere or if the Avenger will make an appearance in a different Marvel project, so it’s not surprising that Jeremy Renner's sentiment about the final production day was a hopeful one for the fans, as well as himself. The sooner the better, I think we can all agree.

A day or so before revealing to fans that Hawkeye's production had wrapped, Jeremy Renner had a very different (and fun) kind of pic to post:

Hawkeye will team Jeremy Renner's Clint Barton up with Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop. Judging from all the pictures they shared while filming was going on, it appears as if Steinfeld was in very good hands during her very first Marvel project. Fans will also see the presence of Pizza Dog and Clint’s three children, as well as Black Widow's Florence Pugh, Better Call Saul's Tony Dalton, The Conjuring films' Vera Farmiga, Westworld's Zahn McClarnon and Les Mis' Fra Fee, among others.

Meanwhile on the Marvel and Disney+ front, Tom Hiddleston's Loki will make its streaming debut on June 9 and will follow the God of Mischief (and Owen Wilson with a mustache) after the events he set in motion in Avengers: Endgame after stealing the Tesseract. Once Black Widow finally comes out in July, it will end a two-years drought from when the last MCU movie was released in theaters.

Avengers: Endgame left Clint struggling over Natasha’s death, so it’s possible he will still be reeling from it in Hawkeye. Marvel has been keeping tight-lipped, as per usual, on what else could happen in the new series. Hopefully it won’t be long until Hawkeye premieres, or at least until we get a release date and trailer. The possibilities are endless for what the future will hold for Clint Barton, and maybe this won’t be the end of the Hawkeye fans have known and loved since the first Avengers movie released.
